Before you Arrive
Q: Do I need to pre-register for class?
A: Yes, pre-registration and payment are required for all classes through our website or The Yoga Room AU app. We do not permit walk-ins.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: You must cancel your reservation at least 3 hours before class begins. Failure to do so will result in a $20 charge for those with a 30 Days of Yoga or Monthly Unlimited membership. If you have an 8-Class Pass or are a Drop-In, your class will not be refunded.
Q: What should I bring to class?
A” Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. We practice yoga barefoot, but you may want to wear socks for our cooler Yin classes. We recommend bringing a water bottle, which you can refill at our station. We have complimentary mats and props you can borrow if you don't have your own.
Q: Do you have parking?
A: Yes, parking is available in the front, side, and back of the studio. Please do not park in a numbered spot as those are reserved for residents.
At the Studio
Q: What should I do when I arrive?
A: Please arrive 15 minutes before class. If there is a class in session, please wait outside until someone comes to let you in.
Remove your shoes and place them on the shoe shelf. All other belongings, including cell phones and electronic devices (which should be on silent), can be kept in the back of the studio or on the hanging racks. Tell the instructor your name, gather any props you need, and quietly enter the practice area.
New phone policy - we recommend putting your phones in the back, but if you are filming yourself stay toward the back of the room.
Q: Can I enter a class late or leave early?
A: We ask that all students arrive 15 minutes early and stay for the entire class. This helps ensure you get the most out of your practice and do not disrupt other students. No late entries or early exits are permitted. We understand things happen, please reach out to us if you have any issues.
Q: Are instructors available for questions?
A: Yes, our teachers are happy to answer any questions or address concerns you have before or after class.
Hot Yoga
Q: How hot are your hot yoga classes?
A: The temperature will be set to approximately 90 degrees to help students acclimate. We may gradually increase the temperature to 95 degrees, and potentially up to 100 degrees, but we will never exceed 100 degrees. The room's humidity will be at 40%.
Q: Is hot yoga safe for everyone?
A: We recommend that women who are pregnant or anyone with diabetes or a cardiovascular disease, including high blood pressure, consult with their doctor first. We offer many non-heated classes that provide incredible benefits to the mind and body.
Q: What is the difference between your hot yoga and Bikram?
A: Our hot yoga is an all-levels Vinyasa yoga, not Bikram. This means it is a flowing, music-driven practice that is designed for all experience levels.
